Rumor has it that Apple, inc. is working on turning their iTunes-based payment system in the iTunes Store into a method for 3rd-party digital content vendors to sell and take payment for their digital goods. Currently, Apple already allows some 3rd party vendors to sell content in the iTMS – but this new system will be set to directly challenge Google Checkout, eBay’s PayPal, Amazon Payments, and Facebook’s still-in-development “Pay with Facebook” system.
What payment processing service do you use the most when paying for goods? When you are selling something? I know I deal mostly in PayPal, but from time to time I earn some extra scratch selling things on Amazon and use their payment system. Also, how much would you be willing to trust a Facebook payment platform? Let us know in the comments.
